Humic Acid:  New Hero of the Farming World?

For decades modern farming practices such as irrigation, drainage, cultivation, harvesting, compaction, and heavy use of synthetic fertilizers and chemicals have been depleting the soils humus and beneficial bacteria.  In the past this damage has been corrected to some extent by using crop rotations, planting legume, and applying green manure and compost.  Though these practices are still helpful, they are not cutting it and can be costly and time consuming.  Recent advances in nutrition and herbicides have changed the way American farms tremendously.  It is due time that soil health technology becomes a priority in managing your farm.

This is where Humic Acid comes into the picture.  When we talk about “Agricultural Sustainability” there is no truer product on the market right now than Humic Acid.  This product will not only keep your farm in great shape for future generations but also correct the damage 70 years of farming has done to the land (including saline areas).

Now here’s the science behind this: all you need to do is add Carbon to the soil.  Humic Acid solubilizes phosphorus and other nutrients in high calcareous soils making these essential nutrients available to your crop.  Not only does it make nutrients more available but it also feeds the microorganisms.  Soil organisms consume 10 times more Carbon than Nitrogen.  Carbon is essentially the primary food source for microorganisms in the soil.  These microorganisms are responsible for stimulating root growth, and massive root systems directly correlate to increased yields.  At the end of the year hopefully those higher yields increase the cash going into your pocket.

Available at CG Ag!

So now you’re thinking, Well I already put down inoculant for the microorganism, why would I put this down instead?  We don’t want to replace inoculant, we want to put down both (in one application!) and let them work together.   If you want to see a difference in your crops health this year, try it on your farm! Over time you will see other benefits in your soil and crop health as well, like improved germination rates, increases plant’s resistance to disease, frost damage and drought, increased Cation Exchange Capacity, increased nutrient and water holding capacity, and increase nutrient and water uptake.  Start Humic Acid treatments today and see the benefits for years to come.

Apply with fertilizer or pesticides!

Fulvic Acid is an easy-to-apply, highly efficient and economical benefit to begin using on your farm today.  Fulvic Acid is beneficial for all soil types and plants under all conditions.  This compound easily enters the plant and acts as a natural chelating agent binding to nutrients to create Fulvic acid rich complexes.  Fulvic acid helps increase the cell membrane permeability which helps increase the extraction of nutrients you apply.  By adding just one to two gallons of Fulvic acid per acre you will increase your fertilization program efficiency and may even reduce the amount of nutrients you need to apply.  Check out the benefits of this brand new product

Benefits:

  • An increase in photosynthesis and ventilation. In other words, the speed of catching light is increased, which encourages a larger production of sugars.

  • An improvement in the transport of nutrients, making them available in the areas of need.

  • An increase in the synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids, which will facilitate the action of enzymes formed with some amino acids and micro-nutrients.

  • Contributes to an increased exploitation of water by the plant.

  • An increase in absorption.

  • Boosts cation exchange capacity

  • Stimulates plant metabolism

  • Positive effect on plant DNA and RNA

  • Increases enzyme activity

  • Acts as catalyst in plant respiration

  • Enhances permeability of cell members

  • Enhances cell division and cell elongation

  • Aids Chlorophyll synthesis

  • Increases drought tolerance and prevents wilting

  • Restores electrochemical balance

  • Detoxifies various pollutants
